"Heartwork Productions promotes healthcare education which emphasizes excellence in caring and integrates Kristen Swanson's caring model into its nursing education and professional practice. Utilizing Swanson's framework, the attributes of nursing knowledge, being with, doing for, enabling growth, and maintaining belief, are incorporated into each class. Heartwork educators support implementing the bachelor's degree as the entry level for practice, and encourage current nurses to pursue lifelong learning and advanced practice education. We envision a future for nursing based on self-respect, caring, innovation, educational advancement, community service and political activism.
